Pleasanton - On motion of Fred Lucksinger, seconded by Timothy I.O'Reilly and upon recommendation of City Engineer, G.H.Hamlin, the City accepted the bid of the L.E. Webb Construction Co. for installing the water line on Foothill Blvd. from Rincon Drive to Mt. Pleasanton -Bid part "A ", C $746.00; Part "B ", $ 1493.00; total,$10,239.00. Re: Compensation of Election Officers for General Municipal Election; It was moved by Paul W.Davis, seconded by Fred Lucksinger and carried, that Election Officers serving within the City of San Luis Obispo be compensated in the amount of :$10.00 each for their service; that Election Officers serving in the Special Precincts outside the City of San Luis Obispo be allowed $$7.00 each for their service. Re: Rental for Precinct Polling Places: For General Municipal Election; it was moved by Paul W.Davis, seconded by Fred Lucksinger that rental for precinct polling places within the City of San Luis Obispo be fixed at $8.00 each; that rental precinct polling places outside the City of San Luis Obispo be fixed at $6.00 each,: Resolution No. 120$ (New Series) - A Resolution accepting offer of D. G. Wettlin for codifying City Ordinances was passed and adopted on motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Fred Lucksinger upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: Paul W.Davis, Fred Lucksinger, Timothy I. O'Reilly Noes: None Absent: D.M.Carpenter The communication from D.G. Wettlin was ordered received and filed. Resolution.No. 1209 (New Series) - A Resolution correcting erroneous charges against Gas Tax Fund was passed and adopted on motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Fred Lucksinger upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: Paul W.Davis, Fred Lucksinger, Timothy I. O'Reilly Noes: None Absent: D.M.Carpenter 468 Request from Willard Reed, crossing guard, for' extension of sick leave, without pay, was approved on motion of Fred Lucksinger, seconded by Paul W.Davis. Resolution No. 1210 (New Series) - A Resolution transferring certain amounts from the Unbudgeted Reserve was passed and adopted on motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Timothy I. O'Reilly upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: Paul W.Davis, Fred Lucksinger, Timothy I. O'Reilly Noes: None Absent: D.M.Carpenter On motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Fred Lucksinger, the following salary increases were approved by the Council, effective May 1, 1953, subject to the approval of D.M. Carpenter, Commissioner of Public Works, on the increase for Willie Baker; 1 - Angela M. O'Reilly, the report of the City Clerk for the month of March, 1953 was accepted. On motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Timothy I. O'Reilly, the Building Inspector, Seth Kinney, was instructed to report to the Council on April 20th, 1953 on the status of the business license of the following: 1- Paramount Upholstery Shop - (W.L.Guglielmelli) 600 Block Higuera St. 2 - Gino's Restaurant- 1023 Morro St. On motion of Fred Lucksinger, seconded by Paul W.Davis the meeting adjourned.
