9. Mr. Houser, City Attorney,. presented to the City Council a request of Mr.
Born, Water Engineer for the County of San Luis Obispo, a resolution
of the City Council endorsing the County's action with Monterey County
regarding water rights on the.Nacimiento River. No action was taken
by the City Council.
On motion of Richard G. Sleight, seconded by J. Barry Smith, the meeting was
adjourned to Wednesday, January 28, 1959 at 11:00 am.

The following bids were opened for sale of 1959 City of San Luis Obispo Water Bonds,
Series A, in the amount of $3,000,000.

Mr. Miller, Administrative Officer, analyzed the bids as presented. The City
Clerk verified bid information with financial consultants, Stone and Youngberg,
and they concurred in Mr. Miller's recommendation that the low bid of Bank of
America be accepted.
RESOLUTION NO. 497 (1959 Series),.A Resolution Selling City of San Luis Obispo
1959 Water Bonds, Series A" was passed and adopted on motion of Kenneth W.
Jones, seconded by Richard G. Sleight on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Nels Beck, Kenneth W. Jones, Richard G. Sleight, J. Barry Smith,
Fred H. Lucksinger
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
The meeting was adjourned on motion of J. Barry Smith, seconded by Nels Beck.
