ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25, 1976 - 4:10 P.M.

PRESENT: Councilmen Graham, Gurnee, Petterson, Norris and
Mayor Schwartz

PRESENT: J.H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R.D. Miller, Administrative
Officer; Rob Strong, Director of Community Development;
Terry Sanville, Planning Associate
1. The City Council continued their public hearing on the recommendation
of the Planning Commission to adopt the 1976 General Plan Update (Ref.: General
Plan Revision - Part 3 - Recommended policies and proposals, Pages 51 through
58, Section C, Goals and Policies).
The City Council and Community Development Staff reviewed and discussed the
graphics for the General Plan Update attempting to display the population
and growth strategies previously adopted by the City Council. Discussion
was also made of densities in the various zones of the City and the potential
effect planned unit development would have on approved density in the land
use element of the Plan.
Councilman Gurnee left the meeting at 6:15 p.m.
Councilman Norris left the meeting at 6:25 p.m.
2. On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Councilman Graham,
the meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m. Motion carried, Councilmen Gurnee and
Graham absent.
