ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL

MONDAY, APRIL 18, 1977 - 12:15 P.M.

PRESENT: Councilmen Dunin, Gurnee, Jorgensen, Petterson and
Mayor Schwartz
ABSENT: None
City Staff
PRESENT: J.H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; Allen Grimes, City Attorney;
R.D. Miller, Administrative Officer
1. The City Council continued their discussions of a Council work
study program for 1977/78 which was continued from the meeting of April
22, 1977.
The City Council considered such items as:
A) Water Conservation Program
B) Importation of a supplemental water supply
C) Water rates vs. tax rates
' D) New sources of revenue for the City
E) Use of water as a growth inducing or inhibiting factor
F) Implementation of growth controls in the general plan
G) When and how did the City Council get information to the citizens
of the City on actual condition of the water supply, sources of
supply, need for new expanded facilities, etc.
2. On motion of Councilman Gurnee, seconded by Councilman Jorgensen,
the meeting was adjourned at 2:15 p.m. Motion carried.
