ADJOURNED MEETING OF.THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO

CITY STAFF
Present: J.H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R.D. Miller, Administrative
Officer; D.F. Romero, Director of Public Services; Lane
Wilson, Park & Recreation Foreman; Wayne Peterson, City
Engineer; Gordon Johnson, Personnel Director
1. The City Council adjourned to Executive Session on personnel matters
at 12:20.p.m. with Personnel Director Gordon Johnson remaining with the Council.
2. The City Council reconvened in Regular Session at 12:50 p.m., all
Councilmen present.
3. Lane Wilson, Park Superintendent, reported to the City Council on the
status of landscaping improvements authorized in the 1977 -78 Capital Improvement
Program.
4. R.D. Miller, Administrative Officer:, reviewed for the City Council, the
status of street improvement projects approved in.the 1977 -78 Capital Improve-
ment Program and included in the budget.
On motion.of Councilman Petterson, seconded by.Councilman Dunin, that $100,000
be taken from the gas tax monies to be spent for drainage.improvements where
problems exist within street right -of -ways that cause property damage. Balance
of the estimated $600,000 to street deficiency priorities. Motion carried, all
ayes.
The City Council.then.adjourned.to a Field Inspection Trip with city
staff to view the street deficiencies listed by the Director-of Public Services
for fiscal year 1978 -1979.
5. 3:00 p.m. The City Council adjourned.
