:ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
MONDAY, JULY 31, 1978 - 12:10 P.M.

Councilmen
PRESENT: Ron Dunin, Steve Petterson, Allen Settle and
Mayor Kenneth E. Schwartz
ABSENT: Jeff Jorgensen
City Staff
PRESENT: J.H.; Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R.D. Miller, Administrative
O'ffcer; Henry Engen, Director of Community Development;
Rudy Muravez, Director of Finance; and Gordon Johnson,
Personnel Director.
1. On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Councilman Settle, the
following resolution was introduced; Resolution No. 3620 (1978 Series), a
resolution of the council of the City of San Luis Obispo calling a special
municipal election to be held in said city on Tuesday, November 7, 1978, and
to be consolidated with the state -wide general.election to be help on said
date, for the purpose of voting on two proposed annexations to the city.
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Petterson, Settle, Dunin and Mayor Schwartz.
NOES: None '
ABSENT: Councilman Jorgensen
On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Councilman Settle, the following
resolution was introduced: Resolution No. 3621 (1978 Series), a resolution of
the council of the City of San Luis Obispo requesting the board of supervisors
of the County oflSan Luis Obispo to consolidate a special municipal election
with the state-wide general election to be held on November 7, 1978, for the
purpose of voting on annexations to the City of San Luis Obispo.
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Petterson, Settle, Dunin and Mayor Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Jorgensen
2. City council adjourned to executive session at 12:30 P.M. Councilmen
present: Dunin,IPetterson, Settle and Mayor Schwartz. Staff present:
Miller, Fitzpatrick and Engen. City council reconvened in regular session
at 2:10 p.m.
3. City council',adjourned to executive session at 2:10 p.m. Councilmen
present: Dunin,'Petterson, Settle and Mayor Schwartz. Staff present:
Miller, Fitzpatrick, Muravez and Johnson.
City council reconvened in regular session at 2:30 p.m.
4. There being no further business to come before the council, Mayor Schwartz
adjourned the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
