1. HILLSIDE PLANNING PROGRAM FIELD TRIP
At 3:45 p.m. the City Council, staff and various members of the public
took a field trip to review the western fringe of the City to review the
Hillside Planning Program.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor
Billig adjourned the meeting at 6:35 p.m.

Public Services Director; Robert Mote, Utilities Engineer
1. STENNER CREEK TURBINE HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT
Rudy Muravez, Finance Director, briefly reviewed the Water & Sewer Fund
projected capital outlay for 1982 -83 made a part of Robert Mote's
report. (See file no. 990)
Robert Mote, Utilities Engineer, submitted a lengthy report on the
Stenner Creek Hydroelectric Project (memo dated 5/6/82, file no. 990).
He reviewed the following: 1) how the City got started in the project;
2) why the City hired Engineering Science; 3) what action the City
Council took; 4) what the feasibility study recommended; 5) outline of
the project; 6) the advisability of eliminating the new penstock from
the project; 7) how the penstock "oversizing" affected the water policy
with respect to proposed transfer of ownership; and 8) schedule for the
completion of the proposed project.
