1. ADVISORY BODY APPOINTMENTS (File *125)
Moved by Dovey /Rappa (3 -0 -2, Griffin and Settle absent), to appoint Pat
Barlow to the Mobilehome Rent Review Board for a one -year term expiring
3 -31 -87 and John Grden appointed to a two -year term expiring 3 -31 -88 as
recommended.
2. WATER MANAGEMENT (File *517)
Council held its first overview of the draft Water Management Plan
(continued from 4- 22 -85, 6 -4 -85 and 10- 15 -85).
7:10 p.m. Councilmembers Griffin and Settle arrived at the meeting.
Paul Lanspery, Administrative Officer, gave a brief review of the Water
Management Plan.
Bill Hetland, Utilities Manager, gave a lengthy report including slide
presentation, reviewing the population, growth, water requirements, study
area characteristics, including capacity consumption, the safe annual
yield, supplemental water requirements, water resources, water treatment,
distribution and storage, and review of the financial plan.
