PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
1 STUDY SESSION
1. NACIMIENTO PIPELINE WATER SUPPLY PROJECT.
Utilities Director Moss reported on the status of the Nacimiento Pipeline Water Supply
Project, and the cost allocation methodologies. He reported on the dates and the content of
two upcoming Council sessions regarding the project. San Luis Obispo County Public
Works Director Paavo Ogren gave a presentation on the key elements of the draft
participation agreement. Council questions and discussion ensued.
Joe Deakin. City of Paso Robles Public Works Director, spoke in support and stated that the
City of Paso Robles is committed to working with other agencies on the project.
Ken Weathers, General Manager for the Atascadero Mutual Water Company, spoke in support
of the project.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Romero adjourned
the meeting at 9:28 p.m. to Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber,
990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
