MINUTES REGULAR MEETING

CALL TO ORDER: 5:00 PM
PRESENT: Chairperson: Hillary Trout; Vice Chairperson: Louise Matheny
Commissioners: Ivan Simon, Michelle Tasseff, Janet Pierucci
ABSENT: Commissioners: Robert Clayton, Ronald Tilley

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES:
ACTION: Moved by Matheny/Tasseff to approve the minutes of October 2, 2013 as
submitted; motion carried 5:0.

PUBLIC COMMENT
Sara Cois and Alexandra O’Neil spoke regarding Cal Poly Low Income Tax
Payer Clinic program.
BUSINESS ITEMS
Item 1. DISCUSS GRANTS-IN-AID PROGRAM (TROUT)
Commissioners discussed Grants-in-Aid program and application process. No
changes were recommended.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
Commissioner Pierucci reported on Noor Foundation: In House Medical Lab/Supplies;
Senior Volunteer Services: Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP); Transitions-Mental
Health Association: Growing Grounds Farm; and Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access:
Improving Access to Prescription Medication for SLO City Residents.
There being no further business to come before the HRC, Trout adjourned the HRC
meeting at 5:25 p.m. to the regular meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2013
at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 990 Palm St.
