Regular Meeting of the Mass Transportation Committee
CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Mass Transportation Committee was called to order on
Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2:32 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room, located at 990 Palm
Street, San Luis Obispo, California, by Chair Osumi.
ROLL CALL
Present: Committee Members David Figueroa (Member at Large), Denise Martinez (Disabled),
James Thompson (Technical), John Osumi (Chair)
Absent: Committee Members Robin Kisinger (Senior) and Ryan Hund (Student)
Staff: Transit Manager Gamaliel Anguiano, Transit Assistant Chris Judge

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
1. Consideration of Minutes of the Regular Mass Transportation Committee Meeting of May
8, 2019:
ACTION: UPON MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER OSUMI TO AMEND THE MINUTES TO
SUMMARIZE THE PUBLIC COMMENT, SECONDED BY COMMITTEE MEMBER FIGUEROA,
CARRIED 4-0-2 (COMMITTEE MEMBERS KISINGER AND HUND ABSENT), the Mass
Transportation Committee approved the Minutes of the Regular Mass Transportation
Committee Meeting of May 8, 2019.

regarding the following:
• Transit Manager’s Report
• Ridership Summary Report for Fiscal Year 2019 (7/1/18 – 6/30/19)
• Waysine Solar-Powered Digital Signage
• Systemwide Bus Stop Amenities
• GFI Fareboxes
• FTA Triennial Review
ACTION: UPON MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER OSUMI, SECONDED BY COMMITTEE
MEMBER FIGUEROA, CARRIED 4-0-2 (COMMITTEE MEMBERS KISINGER AND HUND ABSENT),
to amend the current agenda and reschedule the next Regular Mass Transportation
Committee meeting for Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 2:30 p.m., in the Council Hearing
Room, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
