Subject:Save the Cedar Trees from the Cucarachas
Dear Advisory Bodies of SLO,
I've been informed recently by a very good family friend that their new neighbor at 1954 Cucaracha St.
will be cutting down a couple of cedar trees, without any justification as to why would two healthy
Cedar trees necessarilly be cut down. I'm a local resident of SLO for over 25 yrs and it sickens me to
know that the cutting of trees has been justified for commercial development and under the "guise" of
affordable housing throughout SLO County. There is no such thing as "affordable" housing anywhere in
San Luis Obispo. It's bad enough that Justin Vineyards can get away with cutting down 15,000 Oak trees
which are protected under the Oak Tree Ordinance throughout California. It's definitely way too late to
do anything about those trees but it's not too late to save the Cucaracha Cedar Trees. Please save the
Cedar Trees from the Cucarachas!!
Warm Regards,
Cucaracha Boy
