Hello. I tried to send this to the address I was given and had the email

If you would be so kind to inform me of the proper address, I will resend

Thank you for receiving my input.
I reviewed the application and Google picture provided. The removal of the two trees
seems to be
mitigated by the replacement with Arbutus bushes or trees. I planted the "strawberry
bushes"
alongside my house and found that they were very sensitive to fungus problems and to
excess water.
In fact they drowned during the floods in 1973.
The trees to be removed seem very strong and have been there for many years. These
are the
homes and resting places of many species of birds. Among them are crows and owls
that can
be heard hooting at night. I do not know how many of them have nests in these
trees.

I have no problem with the removal application. I just think a tree that could become
the
replacement resting place or home of the many birds in our area should be selected
before approval
is given for the tree removals.
