Dear Planning Commissioners:
I hope that you will follow the advice and encouragement of Allan Cooper, of Save Our Downtown, and
James Papp.
The residential character of this expanded area of "downtown" can evolve in a smart way if the size and
height of new buildings is gradually larger than the existing buildings. Our city does not need every last
condo and apartment within the height limits. The prices of unregulated units puts them out of reach of
almost all the commuters. So, this proposed project does not qualify as necessary to help solve our
housing crisis. Please take the bull by the proverbial horns and tame it to a size and shape that reflects
the one and two-story environment around it. Thank you.
