Thank you! Bob From: Connor Culhane < Sent: Thursday, January 9, 2020 4:04 PM To: Hill, Robert <rhill@slocity.org> Cc: Greg Bettencourt < Subject: Comments in regard to Miossi Open Space Conservation Plan Mr. Robert Hill, On behalf of the Central Coast Concerned Mountain Bikers, I’d like to submit comments in regards to Miossi Open Space Conservation Plan and the Initial Study / Negative Declaration. We support the Conservation Plan as presented and support the adoption of a negative declaration of environmental impact. We agree that hiking and biking trails are appropriate for the Miossi property. Furthermore, the Miossi property possesses potential for important connectivity with publicly accessible trails on Cal Poly and National Forest property. We believe thi s connectivity would enhance the social, economic, and public health of the City. This is also an opportunity for the City to enhance partnerships with Cal Poly, the USFS, and private property owners in the West Cuesta Ridge area. CCCMB believes the construction of sustainable singletrack trails on the Miossi property, in addition to the adoption of existing trails and roads where appropriate, is consistent with the priorities outlined in the Conservation Plan and will benefit the local community and help meet conservation goals. Best Regards, Connor Culhane President of the Board, Central Coast Concerned Mountain Bikers
