Our small condominium complex of eight condos is currently included in the proposed Dana Street Parking District. I am concerned because I have been told that any complex over four condominiums cannot be included. We experience all of the problems which have been documented over the last years as the city gathered data on whether to proceed with a request for a District for us, so I won’t enumerate them here. We attended the informational meeting the city held on October 23rd and of those who voted in our complex that I am aware of, one address was opposed and five were in favor. Our complex has a very narrow driveway to access all garages and we are not allowed to have visitors or workers park outside of our garages because the driveway is a fire lane in case of emergencies. Please realize that each neighborhood is unique. Please consider that our parking situation is no different than many apartment complexes. Please change these regulations so that each request for a parking district can be considered based on the unique needs of the residents of that neighborhood. Thank you, Patricia Wittenstein 574 Dana St. Unit B 2
