I understand the purview requirements and still feel compelled to suggest that this project should include consistency with the SLO City Climate Action Plan. Please consider how this current iteration meets our 2035 carbon neutrality goal. I’m wishing to see inclusion of e-bike provisions in the bike parking such as the ability to charge rigs, and provision for larger (cargo) bikes in the spaces allotted for protected and open parking areas. These will add attractiveness to those wishing to cycle to work rather than burn hydrocarbons. In your purview: don’t approve annexation without making it at least compliant (if not better) than with SLO goals. You could encourage better than minimal compliance... Just saying.
