Subject:Amendment to the Public Art Policy - One Question
Members of the City Council,
One question regarding the proposed amendment: where do “ideas, ideals and concepts” come from? People! All of
whom are flawed. Even you! If you want to provide more guidelines on how to make sure the city commemorates the
best in us, fine, But blanket removal of individuals from all public art is simply un-American. This policy will never pass
the legal test for constitutionality. Please reconsider.
