HomeMy WebLinkAbout1/21/2020 Item 15, Eckhaus Purrington, Teresa From:meckhaus@aol.com Sent:Monday, January 20, 2020 4:33 PM To:E-mail Council Website Subject:PUBLIC ART DEPICTING ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS I urge the Council to reject all censorship of public art. Unless obscene, and who knows what qualifies as obscene any longer, their should be absolutely no reason for the City of San Luis Obispo to be involved in the censorship of any form of art! It is obscene for the Council to believe they should be the arbiter concerning art, or what one person does or does not want or agree with. Stop pushing the boundaries. Sincerely / Mark Eckhaus Eckhaus Fleet ....Always Something Special! San Luis Obispo, California 93401 Fleet Office: 559.291.4400 mark@eckhausfleet.com www.eckhausfleet.com 1
