Subject:Public Art
Hi:
I read John Ashbaugh’s article in the Tribune this morning, and I would like to say that I do not see a
need to prohibit all art that honors an individual. Why not make decisions on a case by case basis? This
would prohibit the city from installing much needed reminders about what women and people of color
have done to make our city great. Just to avoid having more statues of white men, I don’t think we need
to outlaw all statues of people.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Tribbey
