Subject:Support for city council wage increase
Dear SLO City Council,
I’m writing in support of increasing wages for the council and mayor positions. I value the important
work our city officials do and believe they deserve a professional wage. I also think it’s an important
step in encouraging equity and diverse voices to run for office. I am grateful to live in the city of SLO
with our open spaces, clean and safe streets, and a vibrant downtown. Our council members work
hard for our city and deserve to be compensated fairly for the important work they do. I fully support
the council voting in favor of this wage increase.
