Subject:Support of increased wages for council and mayor positions
Dear City Council Members,
I’m writing in support of increasing the wages for council and mayor positions. The work our city officials
do is very valuable and appreciated and they should be paid for how hard they work. I think it is very
unfair how little they are currently being paid, especially living in a city where prices are so high. Our
council members deserve to be compensated fairly for the hard, important work they do and as a San
Luis Obispo born and raised citizen I strongly vote in favor of this wage increase.
