Hello Honorable Council Members,
I think it would be beneficial to allow an ADU that meets all the qualifications of a JADU to change
use.to an JADU. This would take away the penalty for coming to the ADU table before this new label
for use was available. It would then allow the creation of a new ADU if the space is available and all
other requirements are met.
I did not read anything in the state law the says you can't change use from an ADU to an JADU.
