Dear Council members,
First of all I’d like to thank all of you for doing a difficult, time consuming, often under unappreciated
job.
Really, the upper limit of compensation for what you all do is beyond what the City could pay.
That said, you accepted the job knowing what the financial offering was. In my opinion, you should stick
to that. If there is to be a raise, it should come after your present term. If re-elected then the new salary
would go into effect. I think this would be a good compromise between those that think the present
compensation is enough and those that want a substantial boost.
