MISSION PLAZA RESTROOM REPLACEMENT AND CAFÉ

Please provide the City Council and staff my attached information to you and the architects for this
valuable project.
I agree with Allan Cooper, the secretary of Save Our Downtown, that mobile food vendors do not belong
as the presence in a historic and valuable identity of the Mission Plaza.
I agree that lighter paint schemes and palates are appropriate for the Mission Plaza.
I hope that you will stand up for Mission-compatible architecture styles which add to the presence of
the Mission and adobe buildings. Resounding designs are needed to create a persona and historic parity
that pleases the sensibility and historic precedents of our community center, for us and visitors.
A first site to look, besides the removable restroom, is the bus station two seating facilities right
adjacent to the City parking lot on Osos Street.

which are sympathetic and in harmony with the existing buildings, from the Monterey are:.
Thank you,
James Lopes

Hopefully, these images include enough features for which a locally attuned architect can
prevent a historically and locally precedential piece, even using the destroyed rest room
buildings for beneficial designs .
