PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: At this time, the general public is invited to speak before the
Human Relations Commission on any subject within the jurisdiction of the Human Relations
Commission that does not appear on this agenda. Although the Commission will not take action
on any item presented during the Public Comment Period, the Chair may direct staff to place an
item on a future agenda for formal discussion.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
1. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Human Relations Commission of December 4,
2019 and February 5, 2020.

3. Assign Subcommittee to Review 2020-21 Grants-in-Aid Applications
Develop a subcommittee to review GIA applications.
4. Review of 2019-20 Grants-in Aid Mid-Year Reports and Liaison Progress Reports
Review mid-year reports of 2019-20 GIA recipients and time allotted for HRC liaisons to
present progress reports on 2019-20 GIA recipients.

ADJOURNMENT
The next Regular Human Relations Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1,
2020 at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Hearing Room, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, California.
APPEALS: Administrative decisions by the Human Relations Commission may be appealed to
the City Council in accordance with the appeal procedure set forth in Chapter 1.20 of the San Luis
Obispo Municipal Code.
The City of San Luis Obispo wishes to make all of its public meetings accessible to the
public. Upon request, this agenda will be made available in appropriate alternative formats
