Subject:Re: pickleball on tennis courts
Now that there are pickleball courts at French park, there is no need for the tennis court to be
used.
Also,
The tennis courts are used less because
pickleball players have reduce tennis net tension by hanging clothing items on it
temporary pickleball court nets are left on the courts causing a hazard to tennis players, city has
already had liability issues with players injuries on city courts
because of women's league at sinsheimer, there are no courts to take overflow due to
pickleball playing all morning long on designated days.
pickleball players have 3 courts to play on now, if they have to wait so be it. tennis players wait
for courts during busiest times.
French tennis courts has be affected by painting additional lines on it. Balls hit lines and cause
increased spin not seen on any normal tennis court
Just because the courts sit "unused" when someone has supposedly ran a survey does not take
into account that a portion of tennis players work & play at all times of the day not just in the
morning
These are just a few important points to consider.
Remove the lines & keep French tennis court for tennis only.
