What has become apparent to anyone who has been playing pickle ball at French Park in SLO, is that the number of pickle ball players has enormously increased, while the number of tennis players, even on designated tennis times, has decreased. I don’t understand, how the SLO Parks and Recreation staff arrived at the conclusion that the need for tennis play is greater than the need for pickle ball play at French Park. There are three permanent pickle ball courts in the city of San Luis Obispo and numerous tennis courts. One would assume, that, instead of decreasing the playing time for pickle ball players at French Park, it should be increased. Sincerely Dr. Barbara Frantz, PhD Sent from my iPad 1
