Hello,
I am a SLO resident and an avid pickleball player for 6 years. I have played all over the county and
particularly Morro Bay until last year. When SLO dedicated 7 courts to pickleball last year, I decided to
remain in SLO and now only play where I live. What this means to me is that I play local and now shop
local. I spend my money at gas stations, restaurants and other retailers in SLO not Morro Bay or
elsewhere. If the city decides to reduce the pickleball playing time, I will start playing and spending
money elsewhere again.
