Councilman Andrew Carter asked staff a question below regarding project plans included wit h
the staff report for the June 1 S`meeting. Staff wanted to respond by way of a red file to ensur e
that the other Council members received the same information .

Reduced Development/No Parking alternative? But instead represent the original Final EI R
project?

Councilman Carter is correct that the plans included with the staff report do not represent th e
Reduced Development and Project Without Public Parking Spaces Alternatives, but instea d
represent the project evaluated in the Final EIR . If Council certifies the EIR and approves th e
Reduced Development and Project Without Public Parking Spaces Alternatives as the require d
project, the applicant will need to redesign the project prior to final design review approval .
