Council Member Ashbaugh has asked that the following statement be included i n
the April 6, 2010 minutes as indicated below :
1.On page C1-4 Terry Treves is owner of Fanny "Wrappers ..."
2.I'd like clarify on the second to last paragraph on page C1-5 as follows, "Counci l
Member Ashbaugh expressed his concerns regarding unintended consequences du e
to the grandfathering in of existing business,thereby creating a possible monopoly ,
and prohibiting any new businesses the opportunity to allow smoking in their building .
He also expressed significant concern about the ability to accommodate a designate d
outdoor smoking area in the proposed homeless services center ."
3.On page C1-7, under Communications,the discussion was about Proposition 16 (no t
IA).
If Council concurs with these revisions, the motion should so indicate .
