SLO City Council ,
As I will be unable to attend the council meeting next Tuesday I would like to voice my support fo r
the FASTA Freeride Area project . This project will provide a type of bicycle riding opportunity tha t
doesn't currently exist in our area AND it will allow us to provide this opportunity in a sustainabl e
and legal way . More and varied riding opportunities benefits ALL trail users in many ways, jus t
two of which are
1.More trails means less crowded trails .
2.Sustainable freeriding opportunities are good for the environment .
I understand that the SLO City Council is making the final decision as to whether or not to allo w
the creation of a FASTA project in the eucalyptus grove below the "Shooters" trail . I encourag e
the city council to support this project .

Hello,
I would like to express my support for the Stenner Creek/FASTA trail project . I have lived an d
worked in SLO for a number of years and recently moved to Seattle, WA . The county here has
completed a similar project which has been a HUGE success . The largest problem with mountai n
biking, compared to other sports, is that it lacks a venue . This project will create a venue for kid s
and adults alike to try out the sport of mountain biking and busy themselves in a health y
environment instead of otherwise getting into trouble on the streets .
