I support the Cultural Heritage Committee's proposed Histori c
Preservatio n
Ordinance and Updated Guidelines . I think they are well researched ,
wel l
written, thoughtful, and fair .
We are only stewards of these resources and should be able to pass the m
along to future generations in better condition than we found them . I t
i s
our responsibility and our obligation to ensure that our history an d
culture survive us .
I hope to be at tonight's meeting, but in the event I cannot attend I
wanted to pass along my support for your proposal and thank you all fo r
your hard work in this important regard .
