From what I have read and heard there is very little difference between th e qualifications of the two leading candidates . There are no grounds for selectin g one over the other based on experience and qualifications . If Mr . Carpenter is not appointed it is a clear signal that this council is knee dee p in cronyism from the get-go . It bodes no good for the citizens of San Luis Obispo . It isn't all that hard to do the right thing . Dan Hinz
