The Council sub -committee of myself and Councilmember Carpenter met with both of the applicants for the
City's Tree Committee, and determined that both were qualified for membership. As one of the applicants has
withdrawn his application, we are forwarding the application of the remaining candidate, Trey Duffy, to the
Council with a recommendation for appointment. We are available should there be any questions about the
process during the Council meeting this evening.
