Good evening,
I am a SLO City resident and I am 100% in favor of the Open SLO concept that is being proposed during the special city
council meeting tomorrow at 12:30. Anything that will encourage more walkability and less car traffic in our downtown
area will be better for businesses, pedestrians and cyclists and will encourage use of public transportation as well.
COVID-19 has been such a negative and destructive experience for our local small businesses. Why not use this
opportunity to turn “lemons into lemonade“ and think outside the box about how we can do things better? There is
little to loose.
Thank you for your consideration and being willing to entertain creative ideas.
