I would encourage the council to approve an early curfew for the downtown area for the next few days. Peaceful protests are daytime events. Rioting and destruction are more apt to
occur after dark. I am concern about the Mission and downtown businesses . There are currently peaceful protests of about 100 in Paso Robles. There are rumors confirmed by the CHP
that bus loads of “protestors” are planning to converge on SLO later today. It is better to error on the side of caution and keep San Luis safe.
