Subject:Public Records Request Re 545 Higuera/486 Marsh Street Project
Dear Clerk,
I directed a public records request regarding the 545 Higuera/486 Marsh Street project to the City Planner, Shawna
Scott. She directed me to a City webpage that indicated the request should have been directed to the City Clerk. So that
is what I am doing.
I hereby request that the City provide me with a copy of all wrirings and documents in the 545 Higuera/486 Marsh
Planning files, including but not limited to all correspondence related to this project, both internal and with outside
entities such as the applicant, all memos, notes, applications, etc. that refer or relate to the Project.
I also ask for all documents that refer or relate to the Cultural Heritage Committee matrix that both Ms Scott and Mr.
Codron have referred to. The Staff Report for the Project included the following description of the matrix I am referring
to: "To ensure clarity about projects subject to Cultural Heritage Committee review, staff worked with the CHC to
develop a matrix identifying those projects that will be referred to the Committee for a recommendation. In this case,
the project is not located in a historic district and there are no historic resources located on the property to be
developed."
I would like a copy of every document in the City's possession that relate to the City's use of the matrix, as well as
documents that relate to how the matrix came about, at whose direction and with what authority it was formulated, any
guidance document and pretty much any document that refers or relate to it.
I would very much prefer an electronic copy, but if you can't provide that, I would be happy to come in for an inspection
asap. Needless to say, time is of the essence so I need to get these copies asap. Also, I don't expect to be charged for
this, if the City has any intention of charging me more than $20, please call or let me know and we can discuss.
If you are not the right person for this request, kindly refer me to the individual to whom I should direct it.
regards
Babak Naficy
