Dear City Council,
Have you ever see the movie “Up” where Carl Fredricksen finds that his quaint lifetime home ends up in the middle of a
high-rise district.
He eventually ties thousands of balloons to his home to escape. Mrs. Martin that neighbors this development finds
herself in the same predicament but unfortunately there would be no grand balloon escape… The 545 development will
be that highrise that blocks the skyline from her home that she lived in for 84 years.
It is a large project that does not meet or fit in that end of town. I do not believe that it fits in the specific extenuating
circumstances that allows such a project.
