I am not sure if the pdf contains ALL the information needed when I saved the pdf.
Here is a copy if the above pdf does not open along with the Disabled Parking spaces map pdf
Under the California Public Records Act § 6250 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain data on all
parking violations/citations for handicap spaces in downtown San Luis Obispo (map attached). The time frame for the
request would be from the opening of the new Marsh Street EV charging station through most current data available. A
single spread sheet with each individual handicap space noted and tickets written for the individual space would suffice.
If there are any fees for searching these records, please inform me of the cost. I am aware of the .40/page fee and hope
a spread sheet of a single page or 2 will be the maximum cost. However, if the cost is greater than $5 I would like to be
informed via e‐mail. At this time the request is personal and private but may be provided for future press publication.
Therefore,I would like to request a waiver of all fees if they were to exceed $5 so that the disclosure of the requested
information could be made available in public interest and will contribute significantly to the public’s understanding. I
am a member of the news media and this request may be related to news gathering purposes in the future.
As noted on this request, The California Public Records Act requires a response within ten business days. If access to the
records I am requesting will take longer, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies or the
ability to inspect the requested records.
If you deny any or all of this request, please cite each specific exemption you feel justifies the refusal to release the
information and notify me of the appeal procedures available to me under the law.
I have a zoom hearing scheduled for 11am on Friday, June 12. The hearing may be pushed back if more time is needed to
satisfy the request.
Thank you for considering my request.
Sincerely, Kenny Nichols
