Subject:Carbon emissions
Have you noticed that carbon emissions have lowered throughout the state of California during a time when the people of
California were under “ stay at home “ orders. This decline can be attributed to a sharp decline of carbon emitting
vehicles on the roads , not the use of natural gas appliances. It is likely that people have been using their natural gas
appliances more than ever while sheltering in place at home.
Consider using your political clout to apply pressure to the natural gas industry to mandate timely repairs to the natural
gas infrastructure.
Consider asking for timely response to gas leaks.
If communities eliminate natural gas they will be without hot water when electrical power is lost.
