Honorable Mayor and Council Members,
I am urging you to please consider allowing Dr. James Papp to continue serving on the Cultural Heritage Committee
through to the expiration of his term on April 1, 2023. I have personally attended several CHC meetings over the years
and have never found Dr. Papp's behavior or language offensive, but in reality it has been the exact opposite. He does
his homework like no else does; he doesn't just rubber stamp projects without doing his homework. He follows the
guidelines by the book and does not make decisions based solely on his opinions.
Therefore, I am urging one of you to ask at your July 7, 2020 meeting that Item #8 be removed from the Consent Agenda
to allow for a more thorough and fair public hearing.
