As a long time resident of SLO, I've seen good projects downtown and not so good projects downtown. I think we can all
agree that the projects that Mark Rawson and the group at Copelands' Properties have taken on have added quality to
our downtown.
More housing in the core means less cars, and I know how the current council loves that idea :)
Thanks for all you do as elected officials--while I don't agree with everything you all do, I admire the fact that you have
placed yourself in the fray---something I would never have the stomach to do. Keep up the good work, remember, there
is no way you can please everyone.
Also remember that just because a few loud voices like to screech above the rest of us, that does not mean that they
speak for us. Most of us don't have the time/energy to attend every meeting and speak out. The vast majority of your
citizens would just like you to keep the roads working, keep crime low, and get out of the way so the economy can
supply the taxes you need to run our city.
