I vowed a number of years ago to totally remove myself from any and all city politics. The city council was deaf to
permanent residents concerns, ignored the appeals of the public and ruled in favor of developers.
It is no surprise that they are now trying to fire Dr. James Papp from the cultural heritage committee. How dare he get in
the way of development? Carlyn Christiansen has many times voiced her admiration of Los Angeles. Andy Pease, of
RRM has a vested interest in continued development of San Luis Obispo.
It is no surprise that they are trying to remove Dr Papp from his position. The city Council in the past, has shown their
utter disregard for our cultural heritage and more specifically the quaint San Luis Obispo culture and architecture .
Just go ahead and fire Dr. Papp, continue to ignore the local permanent residents of San Luis Obispo and develop the
city into a smaller version of Los Angeles.
