HomeMy WebLinkAboutSLO Tribune PRA Jodry 6.25.20June 25, 2020 San Luis Obispo City Attorney’s Office ATTN: Christine Dietrick 990 Palm Street, Room 10 San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 RE: Public Records Act Request To Whom It May Concern, Pursuant to my rights under the California Public Records Act (Government Code Section 6250 et seq.), I ask to obtain a copy of the following, which I understand to be held by your agency: -Police investigative reports on Sept. 14, 2019, death of Thomas Jodry -Any surveillance video reviewed/collected by SLOPD as part of Jodry investigation -Any written communications between city and Sheriff-Coroner’s Office re: Jodry investigation -Any city documents recording staff hours spent on Thomas Jodry investigation and officers involved -Any written city communications to/from William and/or Mary Jane Jodry, or members of the public re: Jodry investigation -Any recordings of interviews with David Allen Knight re: Jodry investigation I ask for a determination on this request within 10 days of your receipt of it, and an even prompter reply if you can make that determination without having to review the record in question. Please provide a signed notification citing the legal authorities on which you rely if you determine that any or all of the information is exempt and will not be disclosed. I respectfully request records be provided in digital format if possible, or I ask that you notify me of any duplication costs exceeding $10 before you duplicate the records so that I may decide which records I want copied.
