Tree Committee members,
Please do not approve the removal of the 205 mature trees at 650 Tank Farm Road. It
is disheartening that our city continues to remove so many trees in the midst of Climate
Change.
As you are well aware much more carbon sequestration occurs with mature trees rather
than the puny trees which will be required as replacements. It will take many, many
years for the replacements to get up to size & do the job that the site's grove is
presently doing for our planet.
Please protect what remains of our urban forest. Thank you.
