occupant of declined Red Cross assistance, salvage and overhaul complete, window on division 1 of exposure D by Truck 1 crew, all suppression units released, scene turned over to Prev 23 and Prev Heavy fire and smoke showing. T-1 initiated fire attack on Islay (side C) and transitioned to Roof Division per IC. Truck objective completed by constructing two vertical ventilation holes. One 4x4 over Morro and one 4x8 over Morro T-1 Rehab T-1 Salvage and overhaul two apt units on Islay. Contact made by Property found (JBL earbuds) IFO Islay unit and handed over to Officer Womak. Additional Narrative (#2 of 4 ): T-2 arrived on scene of a multi family residence with heavy fire showing from side A (later clarified as side B). Islay IC assigned T-2 to fire attack on DIV A, working for E-3. T-2 pulled a cross lay and started transitional attack of the involved unit. T-2 also completed primary searches in exposures to the right and left of the involve unit on side A. T-2 noted moderate smoke coming from the gable vent of the exposure to the right of the primary unit. T-2 entered the unit and opened up the ceiling and noted fire in the attic. T-2 extinguished the fire in the attic and began over hall. T-2 was released to rehab after multiple SCBA bottles. T-2 returned to DIV A and assisted with completing overhaul. T-2 reloaded equipment and was released from the incident. Additional Narrative (#3 of 4 ): E4 arrived at scene and spotted behind T1, which had two crosslays deployed. E4 was assigned to exposure B, pulled a crosslay (both hoselines were deployed from T1), and made access to the back of the unit via a retaining wall. A door was opened leading to the subfloor, where heavy smoke was noted. No fire noted on TIC scan, E4 then forced the rear door later re-identified as exposure C, and noted fire damage in the bathroom. E4 pulled ceiling and checked for extension, none was located. E4 proceeded to overhaul the bathroom area. FF4 was assigned to rehab, E4 became accountability. After accountability assignment was complete, E4 escorted the property owner so he could assess the damage. E4 was then released by the IC. Additional Narrative (#4 of 4 ): E-3 arrived on scene to find working structure fire of 4 unit complex with multiple exposures threatened. Heavy fire and smoke showing. Islay I.C. assigned E-3 Division A which consisted of T-2 who was assigned fire attack on side B (Bravo). Operator 3 and FF-3 assited T-2 with fire attack and primary search of occupants from Sides B (Bravo) and A(Aplha). Page 13 of 13
