As with the Froom Ranch development and Final EIR you will be reviewing, Statements of Overriding Considerations were required for project approval, given the multiple negative impacts of the project. I said then to one of the county planners that the statements were lame. He said, well, we have to come up with something. I say the same for what you have in front of you. Lame. Our City should be holding up higher standards. When there are significant and unavoidable impacts of any given project, it should be incumbent upon the developer to make significant changes so that the project and its negative impacts are significantly lessened or avoided. I do not agree that has been accomplished with the statements offered and I do not believe they in any way override the negative impacts. Stay safe; be well. Christine Mulholland 805-544-6618 1
