Today, August 18, is the 100th Anniversary of Women Taking the Vote! On this day 100 years ago, the 19th Amendment
was incorporated into the United States Constitution. The struggle to pass the Amendment, written by Susan B. Anthony
and introduced into the Senate in 1878, was hard fought and long. Here are a few images. I hope you will celebrate the
occasion by showing them for all to see on line during your City Council meeting.
