I support the SLO City Sustainability Team in their creative and effective design for decarbonating SLO by 2035. The 2020 Climate Action Plan
is a seventh generation vision with a well constructed path to a resilient, more equitable future for all residents and businesses. I urge you to
adopt the 2020 CAP, allocate the budget necessary, and support the CAP in every way possible.
Chris Read, Bob Hill, Derek Johnson, and all City Council Members are environmental leaders by creating a document that can materialize into
so many actions that will make enormous changes at a fast pace that can be a model for other cities. Know that the I and the members of the
SLO Climate Coalition are ready to work with city staff to bring the plan into concrete actions and engage the community in meaningful ways.
